Hosting a Meeting at The Windsor
Most meeting briefs come down to three decisions: how many people, what shape the room takes, and what happens during the breaks. The Windsor is 650 sq ft and seats up to fifty, which makes those decisions refreshingly concrete.
Match the Setup to the Meeting
- Theatre — up to 50. For announcements and presentations, where the room listens more than it talks.
- Classroom — up to 40. The right call whenever people need to write, or work on laptops.
- Boardroom — up to 30. One conversation, everyone visible to everyone else.
- U-shape — up to 32. For training and workshops where a facilitator works the open end.
- Cluster — up to 40. Round tables for breakout work, or a seated meal.
- Cocktail / standing — 40 to 50. Receptions and informal gatherings.
A Rule of Thumb on Numbers
Book the setup for the number who will actually attend, not the number invited. A theatre layout at forty in a fifty-seat room feels comfortable; a classroom layout at its maximum of forty feels tight once bags and laptops appear. If your group sits near a boundary, take the smaller-capacity setup and the better room.
Choose the shape of the room from what people will be doing in it, not from how many are coming.
Breaks, Lunch and Logistics
Catering comes from the Kaffa kitchen downstairs, which means tea breaks arrive on time and a working lunch does not require an outside contract or a change of building. Audio-visual support and Wi-Fi are in place, and our team will run the room with you rather than hand you a key.
Where Delegates Are Coming From
The hotel sits on New Barakhamba Road in Connaught Place, so delegates can arrive by road or via the Rajiv Chowk or Barakhamba Road Metro stations. For anyone travelling in for a larger convention, Bharat Mandapam and Pragati Maidan are 2.2 km away — and there are rooms upstairs.
