Garden, Pool or Sea View?
Thirty-seven rooms and suites, and the decision really comes down to what you want to be looking at when you open the curtains in the morning.
The Categories
- Deluxe Double, Garden View — 28 sq m (298 sq ft). The quietest of the three, looking into the resort’s planting.
- Deluxe Double, Pool & Garden View — 28 sq m (298 sq ft). Slightly larger, overlooking the pool. Available with twin beds.
- Deluxe Double, Sea View — 25 sq m (265 sq ft). Facing the Bay of Bengal, with a balcony.
- Deluxe Suite — 66 sq m (709 sq ft). A separate living area alongside the bedroom.
How to Choose
Two or three nights, here for the temple. Garden view. You will be out early and back late, and it is the calmest of the three at night.
Here with children. Pool and garden view, in the twin configuration. Being able to see the pool from the room is worth more than it sounds.
Here for the sea. Sea view, without hesitation. Puri faces east, so a sea-facing balcony means watching the sun come up out of the water without leaving your room — the single best argument for the category.
A longer stay, or a special occasion. The suite, at 66 sq m (709 sq ft) with a separate living area.
If you are staying more than two nights and the sunrise matters to you, take the sea view.
